    Should also meet with your “DJ” before you hire them.
    Be cautious of any “awards”
    DJ training is a better question to ask “DJ “

    I agree with your comment somewhat. Awards like The Couples’ Choice awards from WeddingWire are great awards to look for as they can be confirmed by looking at their profile on WeddingWire as to whether they actually won it or not.

    Training is a great thing too and I would recommend focusing on radio and TV training and even college degrees in Broadcasting as these professionals tend to be more polished and provide a better service.

    Meeting with your DJ is always a great thing to do, if you can’t maybe try Skype. If it’s not possible then the phone conversations and looking for the above things should get you the right people.
